  • This is beautiful in a way that only vintage sparkling wine can be beautiful. It also proves, to me, that well-made American sparkling wine can age just as long as Champagne.

    Banana bread, toasted brioche, hazelnuts, chestnuts, brown butter, preserved yellow apples and pears. Everything is still very lively. Medium + body with way more acid than you'd think given that this is 33 years old. Singular, and absolutely delightful.

  • This was stunning. What a surprise. Medium yellow color. A quite mature but also fresh nose of ginger, cream, light chocolate, and yeasty notes. In the mouth, shockingly fresh, with beautiful green apple fruit, minerals, brioche, and a spicy-chocolate edge that leads to a lovely, long finish. This is a truly excellent mature sparkler. A
