An average Northern California Sauvignon Blanc that shouldn't offend anyone's palate but has not special distinctive qualities either. I admit, I've been drinking more Malborough/New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc lately and I missed the zippy acidity in this wine.

Clear, very pale straw. Lemongrass, straw, green apple. Medium to high acids, no tannins, not sweet. Lemon curd. Short slightly acidic finish. Glass at Linda Blairs.

Pale yellow/green and packed with lemongrass, melon and citrus, this light-bodied, crisply acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (13.5%) wine is just what the doctor ordered as an accompaniment to salade niçoise on a warm Southern California evening. Persisting nicely in the middle and closing with a floral, medium length finish, this is a quality Sauvignon Blanc worthy of its sticker. Drink now-2017.
