  New Year's Eve Dinner (Herald & Teni's Place, Hong Kong): Incredibly crisp and precise. Taut. Crisp but probably fully mature. Somwhat bettered by the Champagne Barnaut 2000 we drank alongside it....but super. Happy New Year!

  I find it very interesting the variation of the bottles of this. Don't get me wrong they are all nice but the nose and palate can be so different. This one was quitter with an amazing complex palate. Lovely.

  I was worried that this one was starting to get old, but when I opened what sadly was my one and only bottle it was still pretty young. Aromas of lemon, golden apples, brioche and tons of mineral, good acidity and elegant mousse. Really nice.

  This showed a brilliant yellow-gold in the glass with aromas of straw, yellow flowers, floral stems and hints of apple. On the palate, it was smoother than expected, caressing even, yet with beautiful bright acidity showing tart apple and flower petals.
