  Big, lush, and generous. Loads of blackberry, candied black cherries and an edge of cleansing bitterness from anise, and later blood orange. A hint of barrel spice. Fine tannins and a long finish.

  A good bottle but slightly underwhelmed by the finish. Loved the nose and upfront fruit. Different than the last bottle. I hope it is simply a little bottle variation. Hope to get to another soon to verify. Still a nice bottle overall.

  Not overly impressed with this wine. The body, short lasting finish, was weak. Flavors and aroma also did not make this a "choice" wine for me. I have one other bottle which I will try next year. I doubt if I will stock any more of this.

  This bottle was shared with friends and hit all the high points of a great California cab. I could smell the Moutains on the nose. The palate had notes of chocolate and blue and blackberry profiles. This was a phenomenal bottle. I still have three left and may wait two years before tasting another.
