  • Although I know the usual style/goal of the Arcadian bottlings, I was still a bit underwhelmed with this particular attempt. Even with about 10 years of age, it was still a bit shrill and austere. I fully realize that Arcadian does not make "fruit bombs" and has a Burgundian bent, nonetheless, this wine seemed a bit acetic and lacking in fruit. I was hoping it would improve served with a pork tenderloin but it was still a bit tart. Certainly, not a bad wine, but I have had many better offerings from this producer.

  • This wine is in its window, blind you would swear it was from burgundy. Earth, tart cherries, sois bois. Could sniff and sip this one all night. Wonderful. Love this vineyard and the winemaker isn't too bad as well.

  • A very burgundian pinot iwth great acidity and mild barnyard. Wonderful food wine. Enjoyed by all (experienced and inexperienced wine drinkers alike)

  • Even better than the last bottle with lovely bright red fruit, interesting complexity, balanced structure, and delicious acidity on the long finish.

  • Lovely understated Cali pinot. Light to medium bodied with dark cherry, orange rind on nose and beautiful fruit, earth on palate. Wine is very smooth and delicious.
    Decanted for 30 minutes and bottle gone in another 30.
