  • Last bottle. I think I liked this better 5 years ago.
    No formal notes. My sense of smell seems to be slightly muted and I don't get a lot of nuance, ever since I had Covid (Delta variant incl. 10 days of no sense of smell)

  • Wow. This has the texture of an Auslese. Rich herbal and fruity nose. Full bodied, almost buttery palate. Long finish of sweetness, acidity, and spices.
    But it could be higher in acidity for me.
    "Mosel Fine Wines - The Independent Review of Mosel Riesling" says drink between 2024 and 2039.
    Due to the high sugar, I can't say if this is enough acidity for the wine to age this long. Maybe it is and I don't taste it through the sweentess.
