A blend of Chardonnay (59%), Pinot Noir (27%) and Pinot Meunier (14%).
Youthful pale lime green color. Quite restrained and dry nose with aromas of zesty citrus tones, some yeasty autolysis and a hint of fresh, tart apple. The wine is crisp, lean and mineral yet somewhat juicy on the palate with flavors of lemony citrus fruits, ripe red apple, some steely minerality and a little bit of fruit candy. The dosage shows a little. The wine is high in acidity and the mousse feels somewhat short and aggressive. The finish is lively, refreshing and mineral with flavors of ripe red apples, some steely minerality and a little bit of sweet-yet-sour lemon candy.
A nice and balanced but ultimately somewhat uninteresting English bubbly. The wine shows good freshness, nice acidity and lovely minerality with balanced dosage sweetness, but overall the style feels more similar to a Crémant than anything that'd challenge a Champagne. Nice, but not really worth the price,

Quite large bubbles and not too much mousse. Very much a cooked apple sort of nose. Not complex at all and not of the quality of Hambledon or Nyetimber.... could probably be better if held another couple of years.

Pop and poured in Windsor room. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Fine persistent bubbles. Nose is clean, medium- intensity, with aromas of little white flowers, yeast, biscuit, melon. Youthful. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (12%), medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of citrus lime, golden apple, melon, bready yeast, biscuit. Medium finish. Good quality. Lack of serious intensity notwithstanding, at the price point, this is indeed a champagne-killer. Easy drinking. 59% Chardonnay, 27% Pinot Noir, 14% Pinot Meunier.

BYO Blind Tasting: Blind. Big body, very high mousse, yellow apples, creamy, good length, only moderate acidity. Were in not in England due to the lowish acidity.
