  • Greenish and yellowish fruity bouquet with sharp intensity. Good acidity and depth with loads of fruit and root vegetables. Very intense minerality but balanced rather than wild and persistent finish. Would drink now.

  • From 375ml this is in a lovely late adolescent stage as the spiky elements of youth have rounded off, but it’s still full of energy. Lemon zest, apple skin, light dashes of marcona almond and just a hint of cress made for a lovely blend that had just a nip of spice on the finish. Not sure where that spice came from as Michel doesn’t use new oak, but it was there, and it was a lovely counterpoint. Happy to drink this now, and happier to have several more 375s to drink over the coming years.

  • Booming. Young and energetic. Excellent acid. Saline. Bright lemon fruit. Slight pleasant bitter note on finish. Had this as a cheese wine, and it did great in that role (especially with sharp aged cheese).

  • Still youthful, but drinking very well now with a rich lunch (burrata salad, pate en croute, etc.). Only the faintest signs of early maturity - still quite bright, focused and mineral driven. Lemons with just a wee touch of creaminess. More dry mineral than saline. This was the first of my stash that I opened, and no regrets on holding this. Will hold the others even longer!

  • Very Delicious! Not quite as complex as the 2010, but with an hour of air this was really drinking well. Very deep and intellectual, with all the great parts of Chablis GC. I would have liked to see a little more power, but that is a small complaint. Very nice overall.
