Made from 100% Graciano, aged for 8 months in 100% new French oak. Fresh, firm and energetic, with a good weight of juicy black fruit, quite full bodied (14% ABV), touch of cocoa, good length. Quite powerful but lacks charm and finesse.

Appropriate name, Tierra Fuerte. Sturdy wine, brambles and licorice, not very concentrated, good acidity and minerality that I imagined as being red/orange rocks, some heat from the alcohol that actually fits in with the wine. Can definitely use some tapas, this wine can stand up against chorizo and strongly flavoured olives.
I liked the original style but the €12 price tag is a bit steep for this quality, as it lacks some depth.
