Part of a flight of six Oregon Pinots from 2011 to 2013. On the lighter side of typical Willakenzie wines. Finish was mouth drying, and tannins were noticeable. Nose was slightly floral. Doesn’t seem like it would continue to improve with age.

Typical cinnamon nose with some dried cherry and cola. Medium mouth continues with cola spice in the fully dry, decently acidic and even slightly floral finish. No impressions of over-ripeness.

Mix of tart, juicy cranberry and raspberry fruit, lingering finish. Light notes of fresh tobacco and baker's chocolate

Good balance with a smooth finish, but I wasn’t blown away with the flavors on this one.
