Sandeman MG Vertical (PP81): From MG bottle. Sewer and licorice. Fairly intense but also cloudy. Has some walnuts and chocolate but overall, the alcohol is dominating too much.

Terroir-istes International - Portugal, Port (Groot Constantia): (Tasted Blind): A light tawny colour, the nose is outstanding with hints of roses, cinnamon spice, dried currants, date, figs, tar, and dried orange peel. It has an ethereal and lifted quality with a nod to Barolo! Incredible complexity on entry with layers of fruit that dance on the palate and provide depth and richness. It possesses real power, concentration, and an astonishing deftness of touch. Flavours include raisins, dates, dried fig, cinnamon, sweet orange peel, and candied orange. The wine's length and complexity are fabulous, displaying a svelte chamois leather texture, fabulous integration, and fantastic age!

[Grand Millesime's "The Gros Family Richebourg 1949-2012" Dinner at Circa Restaurant, Melbourne] Translucent medium dark garnet, tawny hue. Mature black fruit nose with no undue VA or spirit showing through but copious licorice, coffee, sweet spices, fig, date & raisin notes. Fullish, quite deep & concentrated, soft, mellow & mellifluous; quite sweet with traces of fine acidity in excellent harmony. Long, clean & elegant finish.

FTLOP 16th Anniversary Tasting; 7/23/2021-7/24/2021 (Seattle, Washington): Surprisingly dark amber in color. Cola, chocolate, and mahogany on the nose. Medium-bodied with rich red fruit. Some spirit shows up on the mid-palate. Long, mouth-coating finish.
