  • Pop and pour. Need to drink quickly as it fades over an hour.

  • On it's descent but doing it with great style! Fragrant nose of roses and berries; spice, cherries, red apple and raspberry with a bare hint of savory and a touch of heat (14.4% after all). Medium/light weight, with an ethereal finish that lingers. Very nice. Begin to manage your cellar and put these towards the front.

  • Decanted but no sediment to speak of. Let it breathe for an hour.

Beautiful expressive berry and dark cherry on the nose and palate. Moderately concentrated (a touch too much?). Nice balance and silky mouth feel. Medium-long finish.

In a nice window. Still 1-3 years left For my taste.

  • Sometimes I think we drink our wines way too young. I (on the other hand) probably drink them too old. But this presents an interesting dilemma - here is a wine that's great, drinking spot on, just wonderfully fragrant, with floral and spice on the nose, black tea and roses on the palate, balanced, smooth, light, lively, still full of verve, long silky finish, that was last reviewed here FOUR years ago. What happened?

I can't help but notice that according to the community holdings listings there are some 114 bottles still out there. Come on folks, lets hear from you! And if you have any qualms, dont. Just pop and pour and write. I don't think that there is a lot of improvement left in this bottling so I probably won't go looking to buy any more, but it darn good right now so open and share.

    Thanks.

  • Way off. Some spritz and other elements making this undrinkable. Beginning to wonder if UPS mishandled the entire shipment.
