Thirty minutes in the glass before tasting. Deep dark ruby garnet color. Port-like nose. Very dry palate. Firm, full, medium intensity tannins on the longish finish.
This was interesting. Seems to be starting to fall apart. Had a wonderful tasting here at Seavey, although most of the wines were not my style. All the reds lean toward Bordeaux. The property is beautiful, with a working farm.

Very tasty if a tiny bit hot and a tiny bit tannic. Kevin says that “the taste wins” but I’d hope that more years would temper the tannin a bit and show a better still presentation .

Seavey Dinner (bellwether): Another favorite of the tasting. This was out of magnum. Young and beautiful and well structured and dark and a bit almost brooding in style. Lots of fruit without being overpowering. Almost juicy in nature. Just a lovely wine.
