Pale straw color with a lively, bright nose. Med-bodied, great texture with plenty of green apple crispness, some hints of citrus, nice mineral-ish undercurrent that becomes more pronounced on the very clean and persistent finish. Shows more complexity and body that you'd expect from a bourgogne, another great value in 2002 white burgs, drinking just fine now but with a few years of upside in the bottle I think.

This is a bigger wine than the label would indicate. It has good light fruit on the nose, light colored but medium bodied, and a very long finish for this level. There is almost too much alcohol in the nose and on the palate but overall good value for the price point- $18. We paired with broiled sea bass on mashed potatoes with roasted asparagus and sauteed pear tomatoes in roasted garlic- almost too many flavors to keep up with. But the Rosengarten fresh harvest olive oil added a little nutty truffle-like funk to the asparagus, that was too much indeed.

Drinkable but largely past it.

Very nice over two days; bright lemony minerals with only a hint of hazelnut and brioche; fat-free, classy bourgogne.
