Tasted by Jakob K on 9/25/2009 & rated 87 points: Extremely hot! You can feel the high alcohol level and it over powers the rest of the wine. (384 views)
Tasted by Gonzorg on 8/4/2009 & rated 89 points: Nice color and aromas. Still drinking very nice. Hints of cherry and maybe some raisin. Nice finish. Glad I have more in the cellar. (420 views)

Tasted by drphil on 2/3/2009 & rated 88 points: Black purple color with slight oak nose. Sweet cherry palate with nicely balanced oak, smokey cherry, and medium long finish. (728 views)
Tasted by Art_Vandelay on 9/13/2008 & rated 91 points: Opaque purple core. Terrific nose of sweet, black cherries, Victoria plum, marzipan, nutmeg and rum & raisin. Dense palate with powerful, fine tannin structure, well balanced acidity and high (but iin-check) alcohol. Impressive finish with sweet dark fruits lingering but matched by a savory spice. Drinking well now but will develop over the next 3 to 6 years. (692 views)
Tasted by coach4u on 9/3/2008 & rated 89 points: very nice with bbq ribs...great QPR (722 views)
Tasted by drphil on 2/16/2008 & rated 88 points: Full bodied, nicely balanced. Pleasant fruit, medium finish. (1031 views)
Tasted by jamieirving on 1/31/2008 & rated 88 points: Vibrant purple in colour, this wine appears fresh and lively straight out of the bottle. The nose shows buckets of ripe red fruits, earthy capsicums, pepper and tobacco. Medium bodied, the palate displays cherry fruit character, oak and vanilla as well as a hint of spice. Smooth, and not at all overpowering. Very nice. (1099 views)
Tasted by Maestro on 9/12/2007 & rated 89 points: 2004 was a good vintage for Zinfandel in Sonoma. Aromas of crushed cherries, cedar, and vanilla, with thick red fruit, licorice, and oak on the palate. The finish is long and expressive, and the wine is drinking very well right now, requiring only about 30-45 minutes of aeration. Drink it from now until 2015. (1258 views)

California is one of the most diverse wine regions in the world, with almost 100 grape varieties grown in almost 10 viticultural areas, including dozens of different microclimates and soil types, as well as a very individualistic set of winemakers, many with international experience, which adds to and deepens that diversity.
