Spice-driven start with ripe red and black berries. Nicely mature, just right for its age. Good concentration, good length. Slightly warm finish, but otherwise very enjoyable.

On the palate, sweet and sour fruited with lots of maraschino cherry. Late tones of damp earth on the very long finish. A little blocky for me, but may need more time to come together.

I found this to be kind of monocramtic showing an earthiness combined with minerality and muted fruit. Some wuold call this restrained and Burgundian. If so, more like a too young NSG. Not all that interesting to me. Maybe more age will do something. Preferd my 08 Mount Eden which was more vibrant and complex and somewhat riper.

Ripe black fruit with slightly sweet spice, maturing gracefully but still wonderfully fresh. Good weight and length, slightly warm on finish.

Superb. Bright minerality with notes of cherry, cedar and spice. Long finish with earthy notes. Great expel of Sonoma Coast Pinot.
