  The nose suggests a very slight chance that this isn't an over-oaked butter bomb, showing some ripe melon, citrus, and tropical fruit, but on the palate it is precisely that. A bit of citrus and reasonable acidity, but covered in diacetyl that overwhelms any other character that may (or may not) be there. I understand that some people like this "style," but perhaps others enjoy drinking "butter-flavored popcorn topping" by the liter, too.
