Community Tasting Notes (2)

  • Slight cork taint. Apple tart in front of a lean core with tropical fruit and stone notes, finishing fairly long with acidity that probably took the brunt of the hit from that cork taint.

  • The nose on this wine is light, showing some yellow apples that have been lightly baked. When tasted, it's light, clear, and clean. There is a slow growth from early apple flavors into big, full limes. The acid takes over towards the finish, suggesting good green apples, while the core of fruit from the beginning lingers well. The acidity is still dominant here, suggesting continued evolution in the future, as well as good drinking now.
