These are not vintage dated but I purchased this bottle in Dec 1999. Lost in the cellar until tonight. Plastic cork (which doesn't exclude oxygen as well as a natural cork). Wine was quite brown, a little short of the brown you see with a desert sherry. Muted nose. Palate was very enjoyable with caramel and honey. No off flavors. I thought it was similar to a Pedro Ximénez just a little lighter.

Wonderful, rich Muscat, with a twitch of alcohol like a sauternes

Excellent as always. Today it paired incredibly well with pumpkin pie.
