  A bit sour and I agree with the vegetive pepper nose. It was an okay balance with pizza but certainly a wine meant for food.

  Excellent wine, moderated tannins after about 30 minutes in the glass. If I had another bottle, would probably decant for an hour before serving. Tobacco notes seem to be the highlight here. Many more years ahead for this one. The 2021 listed end-date is too soon, suggesting 2024.

  On point. Admittedly, lighter in body than anticipated. Color is starting to take on hints of some time in the bottle. Went well with roasted winter veggies, steak and potatoes. Wish there more of a lingering finish.

  Hint of blackberry and herb, with Bice amount of tannins. Will certainly improve further cellar.
