This bottle repeats the experience of the first, cracking Gigondas at a time when to many in the region generally, are to me becoming overextracted hether that is the hotter summers or what I have had to many like that, but this is how it should be rich full fruity but all in balance, no obvious change since the last and still fresh.

This is a Gigondas that makes so many CNP seem inferior and overpriced, very dark no fading on rim, nice fruit cherry and plum aromas, fresh smooth fruit in the mouth with spot on balance and no sign of tannins, not a lot of length, no decant straight from bottle, no change over several hours, purchased from the winery.

Final bottle, first signs of ageing but still as before a cracking bottle, not sure it has much life left, drink up.

Over-extracted and with a lot of sediment. Already becoming old, at only 10 years… *teska-teska*
Beautiful Syrah, however, muddled in its demise. Still drinkble (most drinkers frowned and refused a pour) but not in any aspect great or promising.
Possibly my life's least enjoyable 10 year old Gigondas…
