  • Just a nice, soft well-made cabernet and at this price.

  • This wine is a conundrum. The tannin, structure and depth of flavour is good and the wine has a strong and long finish befitting the tannin and the quality of the fruit from which it is produced. As one who is cautious about a single varietals bottlings of anything but particularly Cabernet Sauvignon (I prefer the blend that is a Bordeaux) I quite enjoyed it. However, it is too extracted and perhaps picked at high brix resulting in a wine which is rather cloyingly fruity. Unfortunately, this overpowers the balance and other characteristics of the wine.

  • Ok, cab girl here, and this one pushes all the right buttons. We have rich full dark fruit and spice mixed with really nice tannins and earth. The earth really has a big wonderful presence and show early in the taste as well as in the long finish. This is well layered and meets all expectations for a complex cab. Just wishing we had more of this in the cellar.
