  This wine is a conundrum. The tannin, structure and depth of flavour is good and the wine has a strong and long finish befitting the tannin and the quality of the fruit from which it is produced. As one who is cautious about a single varietals bottlings of anything but particularly Cabernet Sauvignon (I prefer the blend that is a Bordeaux) I quite enjoyed it. However, it is too extracted and perhaps picked at high brix resulting in a wine which is rather cloyingly fruity. Unfortunately, this overpowers the balance and other characteristics of the wine.

  Ok, cab girl here, and this one pushes all the right buttons. We have rich full dark fruit and spice mixed with really nice tannins and earth. The earth really has a big wonderful presence and show early in the taste as well as in the long finish. This is well layered and meets all expectations for a complex cab. Just wishing we had more of this in the cellar.
