First experience with this unknown rarity. Hard to find information on the wine but the back label Luc "gathers some of our most passionate collectors and supporters to blind taste individual barrels in order to select the most impressive wine of the year. The single prized barrel of this special bottling is a symbol of gratitude toward our best supporters as the "jury's prize". With a 6 hour decant, I found the wine to have tremendous mouthfeel, crispy lightly acidic structural edges that integrate nicely. Super viscous and micro density to the body giving it great depth and complexity. Red fruit with black currant and cedar tones. $500 is really excessive but it reflects the rarity of the wine (guessing 25 case production from the single barrel).
