Whoa, cool-climate cab. This is red-fruited, light and shows very little tertiary development. There's a hint of oak here but it's mostly digested. This showed almost no bouquet at pop-and-pour out of a bdx glass, but at home, a couple of hours after it was opened and out of a wide-bowled burgundy glass, this shows a little more, with some red fruit and cedar. Oddly, a better palate than nose - red fruit, hint of a sweet core, nice acid, resolved tannin. I would have expected this to have a great cedary nose, and if it had, it would've been really quite excellent, but the aromatic deadness makes this ultimately disappointing.
