Decanted for a good 3 hours before dinner. Good and very delicate, but lacked a bit of interest to be honest.

Developed well with more complexity. Fruitiness gone. Rust coloured. Good time to drink.

Popped and poured at cellar temp. Lovely dark color with just a hint of bricking on the rim. Bit of barnyard funk, tobacco, smoky blackberry fruit and anise on the nose. Nice smoky black fruit, dark earth and a hint of tobacco on the palate. Still quite a bit of somewhat softened tannins on the finish, so decanting is probably advisable. Just starting in its drinking window.

plum. blue fruits. fig. subtle earthy funk. balanced and beautiful. decanted for 2 hours. paired nicely with smoked lamb chops.

Animal, barnyard and earthy notes with some blackberries (cherries, blackcurrant). Medium acidity and tannins.
