The wine looks light brown colored. There is heavy sediment in the bottle. It smells like raisin and fig. It tastes like tar. The body is light. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium.
shared with pat at selkirk manor. loose label. below shoulder fill. loose blackened cork. this bottle should have been dead. faded color. clear rim. the wine is considerably dried out. however, brane earthiness is still evident. the wine is a shadow of its former self. however, it is not oxidized or spoiled which is amazing considering the fill level. this was an early purchase that i hung on to for sentimental reasons. wish i had gotten to these sooner. will drink the rest over the next 6 months.
