Fresh and clean, like fresh pineapple juice (I really like Joel Payne's descriptor) pear, fruit salad, lime, and basil. This has developed some secondary notes and it just starting to get a little petrol. It has many good things going on, is very drinkable and complicated enough to keep your attention, but if I am being picky, it just lacks a bit of harmony to really make it something special. Fresh and well balanced with the acidity and RS playing nicely together, but just has a little something missing or out of phase that keeps it form being more. Still outstanding and quite enjoyable. 90 pts

Light yellow-green in colour. Starts out showing sulfur on the nose which clears with some air to show lots of minerals, flowers, grapefruit and faintly oily notes. Lots of power and concentration on the palate - this has intense green apple, grapefruit, mineral and lime flavours and tremendous bracing acidity. Finishes dry with medium length. Very tasty now, but the density, structure and balance suggests this has a long life ahead.

9.5%. Popped this at the request of Dad who wanted Reisling a sweet. Pale yellow. Light nose petroluem with hints of green apple. Easy drinking palate finished with fairlyhigh tannins. A good finish to the the meal. Went pretty well with all the mooncakes - snow skin with modern fillings of cheese, saseme, durian, avocado and chocolate.
