[Restaurant purchase] No detailed notes. A couple of weeks after drinking the Fourrier Gevrey Chambertin VV ‘14. This had more structure than the Gevrey and more earthy notes, the Gevrey had more ‘cola’ to it, making it the lesser, but more enjoyable wine. With the 93 point for the Gevrey probably a bit too enthusiastic

1 hour slo-o. Translucent red hue, Burgundian nose of cherries and terroir. Light bodied palate with terrific balance and mouth feel. Nice finish. Quite drinkable now, but should add depth with cellar time.

Red cherries and raspberries. Distinct earthy character. A bit closed at first but opened up nicely after about one hour of air. Nice but not overwhelming.

6 months later...This bottle showed much more depth and that crunchy earthy Morey character but with a very light Jean Marie hand. Well done, enjoy!
