So impressive. 18 years old and still vibrant: honeyed, ripe yellow fruits, of course oxidative (not pre-mox!) notes. Full, open, rich, harmonious, long. All that it should be.

Medium intensity pale gold in colour. Nose clean with hints of spice and herbaceous matter. On the palate its steely, lemony pronounced oak but well structured. Good wine but no more than expected considering the price. Not a bargain.

Alluring floral aromas to start. Apple and pear on palate, slightly behind assertive new oak and minerality today. Better 2005-2011.
