2022 Jadotfest (Medlar, Chelsea): Very fresh on the nose, with a wave of red fruit and perhaps a touch of Brett (in an attractive way). Stony on the palate, some strawberry, a bit too lean (crisp?) for my taste but a good finish. I don't think this wine has changed much since I tried it three years ago.

Jadotfest 22; 12/1/2022-12/2/2022 (The Medlar): We are getting towards the stage of the evening when notes become more impressionistic and less analytical. This starts off with a bit of brett - perhaps just a *little* more than needed to keep things interesting, but definitely far from faulty to my taste. Some marzipan on the palate, lovely feel in the mouth, and it has a long finish. I'd be delighted if I had a few bottles of this in the cellar, and my #2 WOTN.

Jadotfest 2022 (Medlar, London): Just a spot of brett here but additive not a flaw for me. A bit of saddle leather with a few pipette drops of Rose's lime cordial. Palate is cool fruited and tannins charmingly resolved. Refreshing and pleasantly tartness to the fruits. With time some creamy raspberry notes.

Tasted over 2.5 hrs -med dark red, mild bricking -full expressive sous bois red fruit -med acidity lends a tart lift to the finish, med weight nicely concentrated with remnants of sweet and tangy red cherry and a linear mildly bitter earthiness, med/med- tannins -fully mature and still hanging on but don't expect further upside
