Nice straw yellow color. Nose of melon and a light smokey oak component. Sour apple and whoa, lots of oak. A little too much for my tastes. Decent enough of a Chard but for me the oak overpowers it. That being said, most of my Chard drinking friends would probably love it.

Melon, citrus, apple, and oak on the nose. The palate had more melon, along with pear and floral notes. Oaky and creamy, this Chard was quite nice for under $10.

A little sweetness on the aftertaste but all in all not a bad chard. Apples and a hint of vanilla with a strong almost syropy (sic) finish.

NOt bad considering my prejudices. First glass fresh, not too much sweet fruit and a hint of savouriness. Paled with the second glass however.
