Thanks to the 'ol BB, this wine got the nod tonight. I don't keep much white around and I need to work on that going forward with my purchases. As for this wine, very nice. Been open just 1/2 hour and I'm sure by tomorrow it evolves some more but now, I can smell flowers and some spice. On the palate, some thickness/glycerine, which I like, as well as some nice zest from the acids and some peach pit, minerality and what I want to call lemon-lime. I think I will chill it down a bit. The wife is making some wild salmon and some other goodies so should go well with the wine.

Rhone Rangers and Lola: Light apricot and soap nose. Smells good. The palate is a little disappointing to me, but others seemed to think it better. I found it blowsy, lacking focus, acid, and concentration. Normally I like Copain's whites, and many California Viogniers, but this one didn't do it for me. I thought maybe it was damaged.

Very disappointing. Very flat wine with no fruit left. Well past its prime. Huge fan of this producer but waited too long on this wine.

LEMONS, MELON, AND TOUCH OF SPICE IN THE NOSE AND FLAVOR. NICE ACIDITY. MEDIUM LENGTH FINISH.
