  Helles, funkelndes Rubinrot, breiter Wasserrand.
  Eher schwächelnde Nase, Weichsel, Veilchen, wahrscheinlich hätte ich blind auf Barbaresco aus kühlem Jahr getippt.
  Am Gaumen dichter als die Farbe erwarten lässt - eher kühl im Charakter aber sehr druckvoll in der Frucht (wieder Weichsel). Grossartige Blance und sehr „stoffige“ Textur durch die nach wie vor sehr präsenten Tannine. Grossartige Länge und sehr eleganter Eindruck.

  A bit of tannic edge on open, decanted 30 mins and tasted while finishing dinner prep. Rounded into form and continued to improve over next two hours. Lovely translucent red, crisp with cherry, black cherry, pomegranate--as recently noted--some fine mineral and earth, maybe a bit of tar or leather, all resonating in nose and palate with moderate long finish, clean fruit and more. Thoroughly enjoyable and this bottle was balanced with the right amount of crunch to complement the fruit.

  Enjoyable. Nice fruit showing cherries, pomegranite, red berries ... on the bitter side, not sweet fruit. Slight mineral feel, good acidity, and dusty to slightly chewy tannins. Medium length to the finish. Nice overall structure.
