  • From the cheapest to the best (de Garage) this small producer makes killer Rioja. This particular one opens up wonderfully after 30 minutes in the glass or decanter. It reveals great fruit, vanilla and a funky finish that reminded me of Anise which I have never before associated with a rioja. Maybe it was the food I had it with (Southwestern with lots of Cumin. Worth a try if you see it.

  • Wood nose with vanilla, nuts, minerals and red fruits. Soft in the mouth with a medium high acidty. Flavors of cherry, pure, and black raspberry come through with light cinnamon. The finish is medium long and well focused. Very well rounded wine. 3.5/5
