  • Last bottle. Slightly muted compared to 2022. Very close to my last notes.

  • Had this gorgeous wine last night and it was in perfect condition (it was cellared for 20 years in perfect conditions). I don´t think it´s getting any better by waiting. So who ever has one of these bottles left: now is the time!
The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like prune, blackberry, blueberry, black currant (cassis), plum and dust. It tastes like blackberry, blueberry, black currant (cassis), prune, plum and dust. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.

  • On a night where the whites where shining, this was one of the better reds; lots of dry matter, black olives, bacon, dark impression, but also a little bit sweet, creamy and almost sexy, very much 2000, but with a backbone. . - from jérobaum, from a single bottle certainly no reason to wait.

  • Deep ruby with aromas of black peppercorn, rubber, leather and cream. in the mouth black pepper, leather. The texture is quite tight and the mouth feel almost astringent. Medium plus tannin that is unripe and green. Past it's best I think...no evidence of fruit and what is left is not very pleasant. An odd experience as the other two bottles I had were very nice (the last of which was consumed only three months ago) and I had high hopes for this one. The cork appeared sound but something just wasn't right and this bottle was considerably advanced.
