Less influenced of age than previous bottles. Even less acidity than i remembered, but this wine has worked well for me with difficult disches, such as e.g. slightly salted cod in tomato sauce and salted and smoked meat and salisas with rootfruits.
Very dark yellow, almost brownish. Unfamiliar smell in the direction of very ripe oranges, wood and marzipan. Full bodied and mature, with high acid and a strange and slightly unpleasant bitterness on the palate. A new and interesting experience.
