I had this literally within seconds after finishing a glass of 2003 Grgich Hills Fume Blanc. The Grigich was so much bigger and so much more complex that it was hard to give the Stag's Leap a fair shake. After my palate adjusted, the Stag's Leap was very light and refreshing, but it is hard to shake the memory of how disappointing it was next to the Grgich.
