Chilled then popped and poured to accompany cracked crab on a warm evening. Pale white gold color. Nose of honeysuckle, flint, white peach, lime. Initially sweet on the palate upon opening, eventually evolving into a multi-layered presentation of citrus, iodine, melon, steely mineral, and hints of apple core. Fresh acidity and lots of spine to counter the lovely fruit. Long, exquisite finish of grip, schist, and sweet white fruit. Delicious and coming into its own. From a 375.

This was a lovely bottle. The nose leans towards spiced pear fruit and a pungent stony top note. The palate is generous and creamy, but with a vibrant minty grip as well. A long finish reprises the warm fruitiness of the nose. Outstanding, I'm very sad this is my last bottle of this vintage.

Surprisingly, this is still tasty. On last legs, though. Drink up.
