...and it turns out this wine ages well. Still lots of juicy fruit, but with a few more years it’s more reserved and contemplative. A great companion for food. I bet this has another 10-15 years in it if you want to give it that time. As for me, my last bottle is probably gone within a year or two because it is drinking beautifully right now.

All juicy with berries and cherries on the PnP. After a few hours of air it gets much more complex. Darker fruit flavors emerge along with hints of oak and smoke. Light and fruity finish. Probably best served just slightly chilled (about halfway between cellar and room temp, maybe shaded toward room temp).

We have had many of these, but this one was gone. Bad aftertaste. Poured it out. Damn shame as previous bottles were great.

Fabulous, hedonistic bottle that paired quite well with BBQ (ribs, brisket). Lively cherry flavors, some smoke, creamy vanilla. Will drink again.

Syrah tar dominates nose;
dark red berries and mineral continue to finish. Nice structure; spicy soft tannins, only really coming out on finish
