a bit thin for a cab perhaps; could have been a merlot, but the fact is that this one had a a lot going for it including a wellroundedness that would certainly make an M&M look bad. a touch of spice, tannins were not a factor, good or bad, not too complex but enjoyable and more than decent at its pricepoint.
Medium bodied, "correct" but not complex. Sweet leather notes on the palate, finishing with a slight bit of bitterness that is accentuated by a pairing with pizza (won't do that again). A perfectly fine casual cab. 86-87pts.
