Deep gold in colour. Sweet nose of quince, caramel, honey, and cheesecake(yes, cheesecake). Sweet but balanced on the palate where I am getting liquid honeyed apricots, candied pears, and white raisins. The finish goes on and on and on....
Night 2: A bit more complex from Night 1 where I am also getting some sugar covered mangoes on the palate to add to the above. 98+ Wow.
Color of amber in the glass. Bouquet of licorice and caramel. Explosion of flavors including the above plus quince. The viscosity helped it pair well with our M2's! There is still a tiny bit of acid, but this bottle has age. Consider opening one of your if you own them! EG #WineArchitet #QdC #Domaine Des Baumard #Chenin Blanc #Loire

(Domaine des Baumard Quarts de Chaume) Hazelnut, butterscotch and kumquat nose; huge concentrated mid-palate of the same flavors as the nose, plus almond; long, minute-plus finish.96+ pts. (Fantastic pairing with the dessert: a hazelnut butter cake and creme anglaise with caramel ice cream and fleur de sel)
