Gorgeous appearance of this one, with pale garnet colour, but abundance of lifted, deliciously sweet, red berries in the mid-palate and friendly tannins of med-weighted body. I can drink this one every day. A regular buy from Italy €20 before 'the pandemic', hard to believe it is impossible to find it online in UK<£40??

From half-bottle. Decanted 1 hour. Restrained nose. Leather, spice, sour cherries and some rose petals. Notable dry tannins.
All in all not bad. Keep few years more.

Wine opens to a burnt orange color on rim of glass. Some dark fruits in the nose after a 1 hour decant. Black cherry and licorice flavors. Low-med tannins. Not a bad wine, but nothing spectacular either. For the price I paid I expected something a little more.
