Salty sherry hint, loads of oak & vanilla. Floral. Very chalky. Smooth and very long finish. So balanced. Indeed a great experience. Looking forward to follow the rest of the bottle.

Simply brilliant stuff. Intense rancio nose, with notes of candied orange, baked apple, and brown baking spice, as well as some floral aromas. On the palate, considering the amount of alcohol, this is impressively smooth, with lots of oak, though tempered with sweet fruit flavours. Finishes incredibly long. I'm not much of a spirit drinker, but something like this may just convince me to be otherwise. Seriously impressive.

Strong floral notes intermixed with charred oak, seems more like American oak used in Bourbon. Quite a smooth spirit, especially given it is 96 proof. Terrific end to a DRC tasting, and a fine accompaniment to a cigar.
