Had a magnum of this for my son’s birthday year. Drank it tonight. Cloudy and looks unfiltered, but not bricking. Cherries on the nose and some sous bois. Great flavor and long finish. Cherries on the palate too. Well made wine and wonderful atm in a magnum form.

Eighteen years in so I was worried. This still has life in it - fragrant bouquet on the nose - initial taste was hotter than you'd expect from a 2000 PN. Mellowed in the glass with air. Still very lovely - goes to show that drinking windows are rough science at best.

Popped and poured for pan seared salmon for dinner. I did not know I had one of these this old so I felt obliged to crack it on a weekday before it turned to vinegar. This was bought on release and stored at 55F since. It was an aging beauty. THe color is more pale than most WSs and on the nose it kept its fresh floral nose. I find red fruit balanced with acid in most WS pinots and that is what I like about it and it was all there but a bit lightweight. It was perfect with the fish but I would say it is at best above average to very good. Drink up. Most WSs seem to me to be at their best 5-8 yeaars of age and in contrast to my Kistlers which have not found an upper limit yet

Popped and poured for a party. Enjoyed by all. Ready to drink. Better than last bottle a few years ago.

Complex nose of mushrooms with underlying cherry, rich mouth fell and long finish. Still very much alive. A real hit with the entire tasting group.
