Amazing line-up, one-word impressions only: Next to the Rouget Echezeaux. The Jayer a bit more extracted and a bit more fruit feel. Quite a minuscule difference to the Rouget.

Had several bottles of this over the years. For me, the finest wine that I have ever sampled.
The last bottle that I had was in 2010, by which time it was either corked or over the hill, so probably too late to enjoy these days.
I recall a perfect balance of blackcurrant, cherry, strawberry aromas and flavours, intense, but elegant, with a glorious finish that went on forever.
A wine that will remain in the memory forever and one, that I will be forever grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy. Heavenly!
