In a beautiful window. Full bodied and concentrated fruit. Primary with little tertiary on PandP, but gains complexity and savory elements with air. Really nice.

Day 1-. Nice color and extraction, but the nose and palate were overwhelmed by a minty eucalyptus aroma and taste....Not very good
Day 2- Much better the eucalyptus blew leaving behind ripe black berries, creme de cassis, graphite and crushed stones. The palate was suple with nicely balanced fruit, tannins and acid. My one complaint here is that the overripenes, and extraction made it feel more like a Shiraz than a Cab but still very enjoyable on the second day.

I have not had a lot of Australian Cab, but this one will force me to add more Australian Cab to my cellar.
Deep and dense inky purple on the glass with a crimson hue, surprisingly dark coloration for a 7 year old wine. The nose was full of dark fruit, creme de cassis, spice box and some crushed limestone. The pallate is very fruit forward with blueberry, black cherries, sweet oakiness lifted by be bright acidity and it finishes with sweet chalky tannins that linger for 45-60 seconds.

Very impressed. Needs very little decanting. Smooth, velvety texture, balanced, round
