Dinner at Hertford. Screw-cap. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Lrga. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of blackberries, dark red plums, light Ribena blackcurrant. Developed. On the palate, dry, good high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), lovely fine smooth medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet dark red plum, blackberries, light Ribena blackcurrant. Sweet vanilla and cassis with more air. Medium finish. Good quality. Clearly New World. Good time to drink already. No need further ageing. 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec.

BYOB - Finewines.se - 2013 - 10 years ago; 4/28/2023-4/29/2023 (Vinkällaren Grappe): Once again it screams new world for me, eucalyptus, mint and herbs.
Not really my style.

BYOB - "2013, 10 Years Ago" with Finewines.se (Vinkällaren Grappe, Stockholm, Sweden): Not as bombastic as the previous wine but nevertheless all out new world. Varnish, teak furniture, oak, cherries, herbs.

Not CA style - closer to old world Bordeaux, improved over several hours in glass, smooth tannins, not earthy. Genteel. See wine Advocate tasting note
