May 2022 - Lunch with Peter & friends (Tian Fu): Great nose: red and black berries, bunch of spices, smoky meat and red flowers. I just wouldn't go back to smelling the 13 after this one. The palate is all there too: nicely integrated, no hollow point, long finish. Beautiful wine. I'm really starting to like Damoy!

Elegant and energetic, my favorite of the 8 Damoy tasted. Fruit, smoke and caramel aromatics. Nice minerality, balance and length.

Quite powerful - opens with time amd air. Dark cheeries. More attractive than the Chambertin.

Joyaux en Côte de Nuits (Marsannay/Gevrey-Chambertin) - Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Complexe Sportif Gevrey-Chambertin): Tasting, brief note. Reduced on nose. Big, brawny flavors with black cherry and plum. Intensely concentrated, but without any loss of harmony. Probably better than Chambertin, with mid 90s point potential.
