Consistent with the last note. In a really beautiful spot right now. Liquid silk texture with just a little bit of tannic grip. Red/black fruit, spice, slightly woodsy, orange peel. Complex with a long finish. 93-94+

Really good stuff--dark fruited, very structured, loads of spice, woodsy notes, and orange citrus peel. Acidity helps to balance out the firmness, but this is still a baby with an easy 10-15 years ahead of it.

Tart and lean. Held up well to an Italian dinner. A bit of funk, like sulfur. Would drink again.

Joyaux en Côte de Nuits (Marsannay/Gevrey-Chambertin) - Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Complexe Sportif Gevrey-Chambertin): Tasting, brief note. Bottled in January. Red, black and blue fruit with crunchy minerality. Tasty and forward start, then hardens up about 2/3 towards the firm finish. VG potential, cellar 5-10 years.
I had never seen this wine before. It is a 1er Cru monopole, adjacent to Veroilles at the very top of the slope near the Combe.
