On day 1, the wine was tight and closed...showing mainly tannin and acid. On day 2, it blossomed nicely, with notes of plum, dark cherry, faint chocolate, and a touch of mushroom.
A very nice St. Emilion, indeed. It drinks well now, but has what it takes to go another 5-10 years. 91 points.

Dark fruit, (blueberry, plum), dark chocolate, slight coffee, slight herbal, strong tannins. Pretty shut down. Needs more time. Good acidity. Pretty enjoyable.

3 hour decant. Briary, eucalyptus nose. Berries, espresso, dark chocolate. Lots of tannin to still resolve.
